Today was another good day for progress. Despite having developed a sore throat over the past few days and sleeping a couple extra hours, I got a lot done. Including getting the first copies of both Christmas novels on the way in the mail. I paid more for express shipping than for the books themselves.
Also I had a couple small Christmas miracles. When I first placed the order, a minor glitch stopped the order from going through. When I went to fix it, I noticed I had entered my zip code wrong. If I hadn't caught that, the books would have been sent to Germany.
Something else like that happened, too. After all the busyness and details filling up the day, I've forgotten, but I felt lucky and blessed this morning. It seemed like more than just random chance. I believe in miracles, even small ones.
Just like in the new Christmas novels. Though of course the miracles there are much more significant, they come along subtly, as miracles often do.
